PathwayIQ is the first counsellor-first platform purpose-built for the South African curriculum — deep psychometrics, AI reports, SA tertiary database, bursaries and TVET pathways in one place.

You're expected to guide hundreds of learners through the most important decision of their lives — with spreadsheets, generic PDFs and outdated databases.
Tracking student progress across hundreds of learners in spreadsheets or paper files is unsustainable and error-prone.
Most digital tools offer a five-minute interest quiz and call it psychometrics. Learners deserve something rigorous.
APS requirements, faculty closures and programme changes happen every year. No one maintains a live SA database.
Artisan trades and vocational routes are under-served. The best career for a learner might not require a degree at all.
Hundreds of bursaries exist — but matching a student to what they actually qualify for takes hours of manual searching.
Proving the value of career guidance to principals and SGBs requires data you currently have no way to produce.
Manage every learner's assessment status, reports, and action items from a single screen. Cohort analytics give you data to present to your principal.
RIASEC interest profiling, Big Five personality, aptitude screening, values and learning style — combined into a professional narrative report, generated by AI and ready to discuss with the learner.
Universities, universities of technology and TVET colleges — with APS requirements, faculty details and programme availability, automatically kept up to date.
Filter bursaries by field of study, institution, demographics and value. One-click flag to notify a learner's parent. Updated monthly from primary sources.
Trade profiles, SETA apprenticeship pathways and scarce-skills badges — so you can confidently guide learners who won't take the university route.
Share approved assessment results and shortlisted options with parents directly, so the family conversation starts before it reaches the counsellor's door.
The first 20 schools to join the waitlist get founding school pricing and direct input into the product roadmap.
PathwayIQ is built for career counsellors and Life Orientation heads at South African secondary schools (Grades 9–12). Independent career counsellors in private practice can also access the platform via a practitioner licence.
Schools pay a single annual licence based on learner enrolment. This covers unlimited counsellor accounts, all assessment modules, the tertiary database, bursary matching and reporting tools. No per-learner fees or hidden charges.
Yes. PathwayIQ is hosted on AWS infrastructure in Cape Town (af-south-1 region). All data stays in South Africa, parental consent flows are built in for learners under 18, and data is deleted within 30 days of any removal request.
You own your data. On cancellation you receive a full export of all learner records, assessment results and reports. We delete your data from our servers within 30 days.
We're in active development. Founding schools will receive beta access in 2025. Join the waitlist to get a launch notification and reserve your founding school spot.
PathwayIQ is a school-first platform — learners access it through their school. If you're a learner or parent interested in career guidance, ask your school's career counsellor about PathwayIQ.
